A changemaker has to be:

→ a rule breaker and a
rule builder;
→ a destructor and a
constructor;

Proactive Innovator
Smart ones recognize change. Smarter ones anticipate
change. Smartest ones create change. Changemakers are
proactive innovators who embrace change before they have
to. They do something that is too difficult for most
others to do: to let go of the old rather than to hold
on to it "The secret of change is to focus all of your
energy not on fighting the old, but on building the
new," said Socrates.
Change is inevitable. It inspires open-minded thinking,
flexibility, search for improvement opportunities,
entrepreneurial creativity, and innovation. Those who
initiate change have the first-mover advantage and a
better opportunity to manage change successfully. "Never
underestimate the power of a small but committed group
of people to change the world. Indeed, it is the only
thing that ever has," said Margaret Mead.
