Gratitude Speech by a
mentoree of mine
"Vadim
Kotelnikov changed completely
the way I looked at ideas. He
didn't speak like a textbook, he
spoke like a storyteller, an
innovator, a cheerleader. He
made entrepreneurship feel like
play..."

Best Mentor example: Vadim
Kotelnikov mentoring Anshita Shukla
I am Ansita Shukla in
grade 10 and today I'll just be sharing my experience
and my Girlpreneurial journey with you all.
At first it felt like stepping into a new universe
filled with energy, creativity and people who believed
in the power of a girl's voice.
I met some truly incredible mentors - people who were
not only brilliant in their fields but deeply human in
their hearts.
And one thing I would like to share with you is that one
day while randomly scrolling through LinkedIn, a
platform I had only recently started using, I came
across a familiar name, Vadim Kotelnikov sir. Yes, the
same inspiring speaker from the Aadya sessions.
I was still confused if I should connect or not, I was
just a grade 8 student back then. I clicked "Connect"
and to my surprise and absolute joy he accepted it.
That one click opened the whole new chapter in my life.
Gradually, Vadim sir started mentoring me - not in a
formal way but in the most human and generous way
possible.
He would respond to my messages with insights, share
inspiring posts and somewhere in between those little
interactions, he became one of the most important
mentors in my life.
Whether I was struggling with my elevator pitch, unsure
how to write a clear essay or just feeling stuck, he
always had a word of wisdom.
|
And perhaps the most beautiful thing he did was this: he
reminded me of my talents. He told me not to forget the
little hobbies I had, the spark I carried, the small
things that made me Me.
So this is to everyone listening here today, if there is
one piece of advice, I would love to give you, it's
this: get on LinkedIn, seriously. It's not just an app,
it's a place where your future can begin.
You don't have
to be a graduate or a professional to be there. You just
need to be curious, be bold, start by following people
who inspire you.
And if you do, you must
follow Vadim
sir. He's the founder of Inompic Planet of Loving
Creators, a community that celebrates
innovation,
empathy and joy.
