A question from a textbook that
will be used in the near
future:
How did the design of the
imaginary kingdom of Roofland
influence the design of today's
higher-level world?

|
Roofland kingdom formation and
first steps
|
|
|
| |
Younger
generations
Zoomers and
Alphas together
founded a new kingdom Roofland where
imagination was the law and joy was the
currency.
The Rooflanders
elected Karlson as their first President. |
|
 |
 |
|
To guide their new
kingdom, Rooflanders formulated their
value mantra
"Fresh Air, Joy, Freedom",
and placed it on their coat of arms.
They crafted their
slogan "Freedom & Fun above all" and
placed in on their flag. |
|
| |
|
Then Rooflanders crafted five
guiding principles,
expressed as
KoRe hacks:
Hack 1: Turn every idea into a game
and play it.
Hack 2: Build first drafts fast; improve them joyfully.
Hack 3: Mix
generations
wisdom rises, energy flows.
Hack 4: When stuck, climb higher. Perspective is
altitude.
Hack 5: Celebrate every small win loudly and together.
|
|
|
| |
|
To make their ideas stronger, Rooflanders agreed to play
InnoBall
simulation games with every
promising thought.
|
|
|
 |
|
They tossed ideas around like balls, bounced them off
each other, and discovered new angles no one had seen
before.

Roofland inclusive leadership
and empowered citizens

Roolfanders promised to listen to the adults down on the
ground not to obey blindly, but to adapt what was
useful ( →
example) and add Rooflander‑style value to it.
"Adults know
things," Karlson said, "but Rooflanders know
fun. Combine both and you get magic."
As an
inspirational,
creative,
empowering, and
inclusive leader,
Karlson mostly
led from behind. He loved to
start an adventure, then step
aside so the young Rooflanders
could invent the rest on their
own "Youre clever enough," he'd
say with a wink, "and Im hungry
enough to watch." |

"For those who live in the past,
there is no future. If you take
no part in the design of your
future, it will be designed for
you by others."
