The Chief Destroyer of Your
Dreams
Procrastination is the avoidance of doing a
task which needs to be accomplished.
Too many people want more form their life but
never start. They are talkers, not doers. Their ability to act seems
sleeping.
Procrastination destroys
your dreams and goals and leaves you with nothing but regrets. It
can eat away at the quality of
your life with devastating results.
Procrastination robs you of time, while simultaneously making you feel
miserable about it.
Don't Sit On Your Dreams,
Turn Them Into Reality!
"Each indecision brings its
own delays and days are lost lamenting over lost days...What you can do or
think you can do, begin it. For boldness has magic, power, and genius in
it."
~ Johann Wolfgang von
Goethe
How to overcome procrastination?
Before all else, you must get clear about what
you want in life and focus on your Top3 goals.
Be Different and Make a Difference!
You must learn how to concentrate. Here is a
Napoleon Hill's advice on overcoming procrastination: 'The principle of
concentration is the medium by which procrastination is overcome. The same
principle is the foundation upon which both self-confidence and self-esteem
are predicated.'
You must start
taking action
if you want to turn your dreams and ideas into reality.
Walt Disney, an amazing person and
entrepreneur said, "The
best way to get started is to stop talking and begin doing." That's the
secret to his great accomplishments.
COCA Principle of Achievement
Napoleon has been considered by historians as
probably the greatest military mind the world has known. Yes, he was a great
strategist. Yet, his key watchwords were "On s'engage et puis on voit!"
("Let's engage in the battle and then we will see.")
No battle, no victory.
So, jump up and take the next step in
your success journey. Just do it.
Break down big tasks into smaller components. Think big, but start small.
"You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going," advises
Mike Litman, a success
coach.
And most importantly, you must believe in
yourself and in your ability to accomplish anything you want.
